Aviv has been teaching for over 25 years throughout the Bay Area Jewish community, in congregations and Jewish Day Schools, as a Melton adult education instructor, and as a participant in the wonderful Feast of Jewish Learning and Jewbilee and Limmud Bay Area gatherings. He studied Economics and Comparative Literature at UC San Diego, and Hebrew Literature at Columbia University. He currently studies with precocious students at Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School.
